I'm Chase Dovey, an AI engineering leader based in Houston, Texas. I design and secure production agentic systems, and build the guardrails and red-teaming that keep them reliable.
My work sits at the intersection of agentic systems and AI security. I build systems that are not just capable, but observable, contained, and well-documented, then I try to break them before anyone else can.
When I'm not architecting or securing agent systems, I'm contributing to open source, writing about how LLMs and agents actually work, and building cAIge, a vendor-agnostic certification for AI guardrail engineering. I'm passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others grow.
